PARANORMAL ACTIVITY

Paranormal Activity

Before I say anything about this movie I would first like this to be known I fucking hated the Blair Witch Project. That was the worst movies I have ever seen and I have seen a lot of crap. I liked Blair Witch 2 more than I liked the Blair Witch Project. With that being said let me move on to talk about this movie!

Like most of you, this movie came out of nowhere to me. I didn't hear anything about anywhere until I saw the first preview in theaters. I must give credit where credit is due to the marketing department for this movie. The ads they put together made the movie look like it was going to be great and got enough people to want a national release. Whether or not that whole "voting" for the movie was legit or a scam, amazing idea to build this movie up.

I can clearly see why people will automatically write this movie off as being this generations "Blair Witch Project" since the movie is filmed from a first person point of view and makes you believe what you are watching is real. Whether it is real or not, it sucks you into the movie real quick and keep your attention. Out of respect for the movie, I'm not going to go too into it and tell you all about it, I'm going leave it the mystery the ads make it out to be.

With that being said, I liked this movie. There is a part at the end that almost killed it for me, but I will look passed that and tell you right now that this movie is a must see in theaters movie. Honestly, go to the movies spend the $59.75 it will cost you to see this movie in theaters because it is definitely worth it. Being around other people and seeing their reactions alone almost makes it worth it. If you wait until you can rent it, in my opinion, it will take away from the movie. So see this movie, see it in theatres while you still can!
