Wes Craven returns to give Freddy a proper burial.

Heather Langen Komp and her young son are being tormented by someone posing as Freddy. Or is he?! The story becomes a morality tale in its way in terms of an idea becoming so popular that eventually creates a life force of its own.

Top notch performances throughout. Freddy is renovated back to the shadows and story outweighs gore and violence. By films end it is, to me, the best sequel if not best entry. As far as majority goes, it is considered a series standout, third only to 1 & 3.

Best Kill: This one is more about store, but I'll go with Claire's chest slashing.

Best Line: "Pick a pet for the rugrat, bitch"
